Description:
Erimi is a small village with rustic charm enjoying peace and solitude away from the hustle and bustle of Limassol City although only fifteen minutes drive away! With just a handful of shops and tavernas, Erimi is an un-spoilt village which enjoys an elevated position and pleasant climate – just out of the humidity level. It is noted for its Wine Making Museum which tells the story of winemaking right up to present day and in particular a wine which is idiosyncratic to Cyprus – Commandria, a deep red sweet wine usually drunk with dessert. As one would imagine in a small village there are no amenities to speak of, hence its attraction, but all basic needs are catered for. There is no nightlife as such but then Limassol is close by where every form of entertainment can be found. There is however on the edge of the village a go-kart track which holds regular competitions. With the nearest beach only 3km away and two of the largest golf courses on the Island close by and Limassol 15km away, everything you could |
