Not far from the village of Pegeia is the small fishing village of St George (Ayios Georgios). The village sports a nice little harbor and the local family run St Georges fish restaurant is regularly packed on weekends. You can eat fresh fish such as red mullet, calamari and various other delightful delicacies. A nearby ancient Basilica still sports floor mosaic that was laid hundreds of years ago. Near St Georges Bay, visitors will find the natural rock caves facing the Island of Geronisos. Nature lovers will be delighted to find Akamas nature reserve not far away and popular Coral Bay is a mere stones throw away.
All around St George are various developments that offer property investors a chance to invest into Cyprus real estate if they like the idea of living in the Mediterranean. Getting around is easy via roads and nearby airports and with friendly locals, great food and a truly relaxing lifestyle, one can't grumble too much by what he/she finds.
